I admit I’m a bit partial to this shoot. After all, this is my brother in law, Brandon, with my beautiful sister Erin at 33 & 1/2 weeks! And that was a few weeks ago. Which means, one month from now, my sweet baby niece, Elizabeth Kate, should be with us in cuddle-able form! I’m SO excited! I could squeal!

How do I love this shoot? Let me count the ways:

1. My sister is glowing. Let’s hope it’s genetic!

2. Tiny baby shoes = ADORABLE!

3. Picking out a name. Brandon and Erin both are teaching or have taught school, so this is quite a task when you associate certain names with certain errr… brats… you’ve had in class. I’m pretty happy with the name they chose and not just because they happened to use my middle name.

4. Sweet cozy portraits, sun flares, & smiles.

5. Plus I think Kate is going to follow in her mother and aunt’s footsteps and be a soccer player because she sure can kick!

6. And even though I always said I wouldn’t do this shot because it’s a bit of a cliche, I did it anyway and I love it. I suppose cliches are cliche for a reason.

7. And finally, I jokingly asked them to do a jumping picture and Brandon gave me this. Guess he’s pretty excited over his baby girl coming, huh?

So Kate, come on when you’re ready! We all can’t wait to meet you!
