Lane & Brady’s Country Wedding

What a perfect day! The weather, the setting, the dress, the details all came together beautifully for Lane & Brady’s wedding. The barn that has been in Lane’s family for decades provided such a quaint setting as they said their vows while their closest family and friends watched. Their dog, Roman, donned a white bow tie, diligently performing his ring bearer duties. And the bride & bridesmaids were all rocking cowgirl boots under their dresses!

Teresa & Dave ~ Wedding Photography

Teresa and Dave were married back in March and I had the privilege of capturing their wedding in conjunction with Dave McAlister of Heather McAlister Photography out of Decatur, Alabama. They celebrated with a sweet ceremony surrounded by close family and friends in a historic one room church building in rural Alabama. The reception, held back near the city, was lovely and featured cakes that very much represented their personalities – Teresa’s mimicking beautiful satin with “buttons” up the tiers and Dave’s in camouflage donned with shotgun shells. His almost blends in with the wall -> see for yourself below!

Amy & Patrick Engagement | Birmingham Engagement Photography

Amy & Patrick’s session in Birmingham was a blast! I have known them both for at least ten years so it was great to spend time with them and to commemorate their engagement.

We started off on the cobblestone of Morris Avenue and finished at Oak Mountain State Park. They are naturals in front of the camera (as you can see below) and I’m so excited to shoot their wedding in May! Oh and I’m sure Patrick will appreciate me saying that, no, suspenders and a conductor’s hat isn’t his usual style, but with Amy’s and my encouragement, he rocked them anyway!

Introducing an Oh So Cuddly Kate | Huntsville Newborn Photography

She’s here! She’s here! My niece, Kate, was born at the end of January. A perfectly plump 8 lbs 6 ounces with the prettiest blue eyes you’ll ever see. This is her at 11 days (and a few at 4 days) and she is about as precious as they come. Of course I’m biased though so see for yourself.
