Mt Falcon is a beautiful park nestled in a sleepy community called Indian Hills just south of Morrison. On the drive up you typically encounter deer, horses, and other forms of wildlife.  It’s a very diverse park boasting of views of Denver on the east side through a dense forest of pine trees. Then open rock faces sit on the west side toward the rolling front range of the Rockies. What better a spot for a Colorado mountain engagement session?

Nicole & Patrick met back while in college at the Grizzly Rose. Like a lot of Coloradans these days (myself included), they are transplants – he from New Mexico and her from Wyoming. Pat decided to pop the question on a hike in his hometown of Albuquerque. His friend pretended to be a tourist and photographed the whole thing. I first met them at Patrick’s Arvada based micro-distillery. Rado Distilling  produces & sells handcrafted spirits made from Colorado sugar beets. (If you’re in Denver, you should totally check it out!)

We had great weather that day up on the mountain. As the afternoon went on, it turned out we had chosen the perfect spot because it stormed all around us right up until we left!

Patrick designed it himself! And one of the coolest things about it is their birthstones are on either side of the gallery.Denver Mountain Engagement Photography Denver Mountain Engagement Photography Once they changed into their second outfit, I quickly realized we were getting an epic sunset so we ran down to the west side of the mountain.Denver Mountain Engagement PhotographyDenver Mountain Engagement PhotographyDenver Mountain Engagement Photography Denver Mountain Engagement Photography I love how Patrick made Nicole laugh!Denver Mountain Engagement Photography We ventured back to the south west side of the park to capture a little bit of that beautiful pink & purple from the sunset.Denver Mountain Engagement Photography Denver Mountain Engagement PhotographyThank you Nicole & Patrick! I can’t wait to celebrate with you on your wedding day on Monday!
