I’ve been chomping at the bit to post this one! Back in the spring, I submitted my first photos to Getty and recently my “It’s not the storm before the calm” photo was selected to be featured along with 48 other images from around the world in “The Art of Serendipity” exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery in London. The images range from intimate family scenes to unexpected moments and were selected from the Flickr Collection at Getty Images, which now boasts of 44,000 photos.
The exhibit ran from September 21st – October 1st, 2009 and I wasn’t able to make it, but luckily Getty posted photos of the event which I in turn am posting here. It’s very exciting to see my photo on the wall this big!
