Laurel & Zak were married in the Creekside area of Lower Lake Ranch in Pine Colorado on what turned out to be one beautifully rainy Saturday.
First off, their wedding had so much great emotion. Laurel & Zak have a great sense of humor. I mean really, how many brides or grooms could laugh it off when their bridal party decides to prank them into thinking they dropped the ring in the creek (see below) during the exchange? Zak even got me good when I was pinning his boutenneire, jumping as if I had stuck him.
They also were complete troopers with everything that went ‘wrong’ on their day from her veil falling into the lake during the first look to the pouring rain during the ceremony to the electricty going out on the entire mountain the last hour & a half of the reception. They took everything in stride and laughed off each obstacle, not letting it get in the way of what the day was truly about: their love. Congrats y’all!
