Steamboat Wedding Photos | Danielle + Brian | Haley Allen Photography | Steamboat Springs Wedding Photographer
From every wedding I have the privilege of taking part in, I take away little pieces. I know what you’re thinking, and no, I don’t mean nabbing centerpiece flowers or party favors. 😉 But little highlights and the overall feeling of the day. Most of all what I took away from Danielle & Brian’s Steamboat wedding is how much fun they are. Seriously, an adventurous, fun-loving couple.
However, I’m bringing you in at the end of the story. Let’s back up a bit. Brian & Danielle met through mutual friends & Danielle’s eyes were one of the first things Brian noticed about her, but he fell in love with her laugh. Fast forward to their trip to Glacier National Park. The two reached Iceberg Lake on a strenuous nearly 10 mile roundtrip hike. This was where Brian proposed and Danielle said yes! You may remember their engagement session last fall in Evergreen with their adorable pup George.
Finally, back to their wedding day – what better of a setting could there be for them to say their vows in Steamboat Springs Colorado up at the top of the mountain? Their families traveled in from Wyoming/Montana and Indiana to this absolutely breathtaking venue with 360 degree views of the mountains.

So I have to comment on this incredible dress. Not many people could pull off this style, but it was clearly made for Danielle. The tassels gave so much fun movement to it! I also love how the bridesmaid dresses coordinated but were all different and were something they could definitely wear again.
The flowers arrived and we found this little ladybug crawling on her bouquet. Fairly certain that it’s good luck & if it’s not, then that tradition starts now.
You may wonder what’s in the cup? Each person drew a few words for a drinking game during the toasts later.
These two are so sweet together. Brian made sure to give his bride a hug & a kiss before we separated the bridesmaids & groomsmen for their bridal party photo.
Brian was so moved by Danielle’s vows, without thinking, he went in for a premature kiss, which cracked everyone up!
Thank you Brian & Danielle for having me! It was such a fantastic day!
And thank you to my talented assistant Drake Busch!
